AISub MCP server

Connect Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants to AISub through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to look up AI subscription prices by region, recent price changes and credit prices. Free to use, no sign-up.

Server URL

https://aisub.yuanwu.ai/mcp

The server uses the Streamable HTTP transport and works with clients on the 2026-07-28 protocol as well as clients released in 2025. No API key or sign-in is required.

Add it to your AI client

Menu names change between client versions; follow the current interface.

Claude

In Claude's settings, open Connectors, add a custom connector named AISub and paste the server URL.

ChatGPT

In ChatGPT's settings, turn on developer mode, create a connector with the server URL and choose no authentication.

Cursor, VS Code and other clients

Clients that support remote MCP servers take the URL in their configuration. Cursor and similar clients use this format:

Tools

All tools are read-only. Regions accept ISO codes as well as English or Chinese names.

Tool	What it does
`list_catalog`	Lists products, channels, plan keys, billing intervals, region codes and the currencies prices can be converted to.
`compare_prices`	Ranks one plan's reference price across regions.
`get_region_prices`	Shows every plan price of a product in one region, with its rank and its difference from the US price.
`get_price_history`	Lists recorded price changes for one region, plan and billing interval.
`get_recent_price_changes`	Lists recent monthly price changes across regions.
`compare_credits`	Compares credit packs across regions by the price per 100 credits.

Reading the results

Reference prices follow the website: the tax-inclusive price is used when there is one, and the tax-exclusive price only when it is strictly lower. A tax-exclusive price excludes tax; the tax you pay is confirmed at checkout. App Store prices whose tax treatment is not stated are marked tax unknown, which does not mean tax-free.

Every response says when the price data, each quote and the exchange rates were last updated, and links to the matching page on AISub. Business and Business 5x are priced per seat; their yearly amount is the per-seat monthly price when paying yearly.

Usage limits

The server is free to use. To keep it stable, each source IP can make up to 120 requests per minute, and the server has an overall cap as well. Above that it answers with status 429 and a suggested retry time. Prices are for reference; whether you can buy a plan and the final amount are confirmed at the provider's checkout.

AISub keeps only daily totals of tool calls by tool and client type. It does not store IP addresses, query arguments or responses. Read the privacy policy
