Pricing methodology

AISub collects regional prices for ChatGPT subscriptions purchased on the web. Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are outside its coverage.

Plan availability and the amount due are confirmed at checkout after signing in. Eligibility may vary by region, account and payment method.

The table uses the same tax treatment for local and converted prices. It uses the tax-inclusive amount by default. If a lower price before tax is also available, that amount appears in red and the tax-inclusive amount is crossed out. If only a price before tax is available, that is the amount shown. Quotes with unspecified tax treatment keep their original amount and are labeled accordingly.

The label “Tax-free price” refers to a price before tax. Any tax due is determined at checkout. Crossed-out amounts provide a comparison with the tax-inclusive price; they do not establish a promotional discount. Missing prices and tax details are marked “Not provided” and are not calculated from tax rates.

Price rankings, minimums, ranges and annual estimates use the selected reference amount. Tax filters match the tax treatment of that amount.

Exchange rates are obtained daily from ExchangeRate-API and express the value of one US dollar in each currency. To convert a quote, AISub divides the original amount by the rate for its currency, then multiplies by the rate for the selected display currency.

All regions are compared using the same set of rates. Rankings use amounts before rounding. Converted prices are estimates; card issuers may apply different rates and additional fees.

Business and Business 5x prices are per seat. Monthly billing shows the amount charged each month. Annual billing shows the monthly equivalent of a yearly payment; the estimated yearly amount is that monthly price × 12. The same calculation applies to other plans with a confirmed monthly equivalent for annual billing.

If an annual quote has not been confirmed as a monthly equivalent or a yearly total, AISub retains the original amount and marks it as unverified. It is excluded from monthly conversions and price rankings. Missing annual prices are not estimated from monthly plans. Minimum seat requirements are confirmed at checkout.

Daily updates are scheduled to start at 06:00 Beijing time (UTC+8). Regions that failed to update are retried at 07:00. Completion times may vary if the scheduled tasks are delayed.

Prices and exchange rates have separate update times. Data older than 24 hours is flagged. If a regional update fails, the last successfully retrieved price remains available.

Public prices can be viewed without signing in. Account features are used to save regions and sync language and display-currency preferences.

When you use an account, AISub stores the basic profile details supplied by your sign-in provider, along with your saved regions and preferences. You can delete your account and its associated data from the account page. AISub does not connect to or access your ChatGPT account.
